Easy Grilled Chicken Split Breast

GET CREATIVE WITH FLAVOR, Using locally-Made Products:

SALTOPIA Infused Salts

Above the Coals BBQ Seasonings

Liao's Chili Chutney

Hoboken Eddies BBQ Sauces


  • 2 pc Split Chicken Breast
  • "Cabin Fever", "STUD", or "Escort" SALTOPIA Infused Sea Salts -OR- "Signature Classic" Above the Coals BBQ Seasoning - Both, to Taste
  • 1/4 Cup Favorite BBQ Sauce

How To:

  1. Preheat gas grill to a surface temperature of 450° (Med to Med/High Heat) Clean and oil the grill.
  2. Pat dry chicken. Trim loose fat and rib section. Cut the breasts into more manageable sizes. Large into half and super large into thirds.
  3. Rub or Brush Chicken Breast pieces with oil, and season to taste with your favorite Saltopia Salt, or Above the Coals BBQ Seasoning.
  4. Place the chicken pieces skin side up and grill for 5 minutes. You will do flips every five minutes. After a few cycles turn one of your burners to the minimum and move the smaller pieces to the area with the burner on minimum.
  5. When the chicken reaches 160° brush all sides with BBQ sauce and grill until internal temp of 165° - Total cooking time is approximately 30 minutes.
